1. Who we are
AFM Digital Studio ("we," "us," "our") is an assumed name (DBA) of AF Mello Solutions Inc., a New York State corporation on Long Island. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit afmdigitalstudio.com or contact us. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the site.
2. What we collect
- What you send us: when you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, and the message you write. That is all the form asks for.
- Basic technical data: our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and reliability.
- Cookies: this is a static website with no advertising or analytics trackers. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Netlify may set a small number of strictly functional cookies needed to serve the site and process a form submission.
3. How we use it
We use what you send us only to reply to you, answer your questions, and, if you become a client, to deliver and support the services you ask for. We do not use it for advertising.
4. How we share it
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the providers that run this site for us, and only as needed: Netlify for hosting and form handling, and Stripe for payment processing if and when you become a paying client. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business. That is the extent of it.
5. Websites we build for clients
When we build and run a website for a client, that site collects data from its own visitors, and the client is responsible for its own privacy policy. For those sites we act as a service provider to the client, not the owner of that data.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
8. Your choices
We are a small New York business and are not currently subject to the CCPA or GDPR. Even so, if you want to see, correct, or delete the information you have sent us, email us and we will take care of it as a courtesy, usually within 30 days.
9. Other sites
Our site may link to others we do not control. This policy does not cover them.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
